Honduras Whisky Barrel Aged
Green coffee is hygroscopic and therefore susceptible to picking up aromas and flavors from its environment. The whisky barrel aged technique is developed using this particular nature of coffee.
For this special whisky barrel process, the wet whisky barrels used to make bourbon whiskey are used. Once the whiskey that has been aged in the barrel was emptied, there is some residual remaining in the cast. Specialty grade green coffee beans from Honduras are then put into the barrel and they then absorb the aromas and flavors from the barrels.

Step 1
Preparation

Boil water in your kettle

Put the drip bag onto a mug (Coffee in the drip bag should be able to immerse in water)

Set timer to the total brew

time of 3 mins.

Step 2
Pre-Infusion

Pour water to LINE 4 and wait to 30 seconds

Step 3
Pouring

Pour water to Line 2

Once water subsides to Line 3, pour water to Line 1

Once water subsides to Line 3, pour water to Line 1 again & stir 10 times in circular motion

Step 4
Finish Off

Wait until the timer goes off 3 mins. Then, dispose the drip bag and enjoy your coffee.
